Parents, grandparents, teachers, caregivers… Please become part of READ! 365 to help your children – and all our children – grow into capable and eager readers.

There are many ways to get involved; select the ones that are right for you.

I will:

Take time to read to my child, grandchild, or other child in my family; 20 minutes a day makes a world of difference.
Read to a friend’s / neighbor's child, every day he or she is in my care.
Encourage at least one friend, neighbor, or co-worker to READ! 365.
Give a book to a child for a birthday or holiday gift, instead of (or in addition to) a toy.
Serve as an example, by showing the children in my life how much I enjoy reading.
As a teacher or childcare provider, include reading activities in every day’s schedule.
As a teacher or childcare provider, tell parents how important it is that they read to their children every day; include home reading in planned activities.
Support READ! 365: Volunteer, Hold a Book Drive, Donate Books, Donate Money.
